Fathers Day @ The Coach

It’s holiday party season! Which means, you’ll find me at the food table, stuffing my face with all the handheld food stuffs because handheld food is the best food! Here’s a quirky little list of tasty handheld foods of what to make this December.

Twice baked potatoes are underrated. They’re so GOOD I always wonder why people don’t make/eat them more. Fluffy potato insides mashed up with ranch dressing, cheddar, bacon, and green onions then baked to golden perfection.

Have you ever had sausage balls?! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these balls come together so quick and are always one of the first things to go at potlucks. Another kind of sausage ball because sausage balls are the best! These guys have a bit of Vietnamese flair going on – they’re incredibly juicy and flavorful. SO GOOD.

Alright, I’m off! Hope you guys have lots of holiday parties this month. Maybe even some parties planned just for one or two? Spoken like the true introvert I am LOL.

All of the recipes in this series are designed to be simple and easy. Part of the joy of the Instant Pot is that there’s no guessing. With regular cooking, everyone’s idea of medium high heat is different and when you factor in what kind of pan you’re using and whether or not you have a gas or electric range means that there are a lot of variables. Instant Pots are great because everyone’s is the same and when you say, cook on high pressure for 5 minutes, the results are going to be the same.

The only thing that will possibly be different is seasoning, which should be, because you should always season to taste. And speaking of seasoning to taste, all of the recipes in this Instant Pot series are 5 ingredients, not counting salt and pepper.
